Town of Morrisville Budget Presentation Wednesday, June 18th
The Morrisville Board of Commissioners wants to give Morrisville residents one more chance to learn and comment about the proposed operating budget for Fiscal Year 2009. A special presentation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th from 7pm - 8:30 pm at Town Hall. Come prepared to hear a short presentation, but most importantly, to give your feedback!

How cowardly and disrespectful of Mayor Jan Faulkner and Commissioner Liz Johnson to chose not to stand in the Town Hall room last evening listening as concerned citizens voice their views on the proposed Morrisville budget. Instead, these two cowered just outside the meeting room in the hallway repeatedly ducking into a nearby break room while citizens spoke. Our citizens deserve better!
ReplyDeleteThe other Commissioners were all present, respectful and attentive as the citizens voiced their concerns over the outrageously large 19% proposed tax hike.
